High in the hills and overlooking Cortona, of both ancient and modern fame, the accommodation offered consists of 7 traditionally styled apartments sleeping 2-4 people.This estate on terraced land, surrounded by olive groves and woodland, isn’t a place that time forgot, but is one in which to forget time. It’s a place to remember that ‘quality of life’ is of people and simple pleasures. Stepping-stone walkways, by which to meander through the grounds, are a mirror to idle conversation – or to becoming lost in a book, finding peace in the silence and pleasure in the views, or to doze under the Tuscan sun by the communal pool.These charming apartments are located in Tuscany, close to Cortona and Umbria's enchanting Lake Trasimeno. Within 1 hour's easy driving or an even easier train journey there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities in the stunning towns of Siena, Florence, Assisi and Perugia. Shops are very easily accessible, as are restaurants and bars; with the highly praised Il Falconiere restaurant just a few minutes away.Il Falconiere is also the name of the estate of which the borgo is a part of, converted from the buildings that once housed its farmhands and the stables that sheltered its livestock.
