Fermoyle Lodge is a large comfortable country house dating back to 1875 when it was built as a sporting lodge for the Berridge Family. It is situated in a spectacular location, with
magnificent views over the wildest and most beautiful parts ofConnemara .
The house is surrounded by its own 10 acres, which is an oasis of growth and overlooks theFermoyle Lakes, the Twelve Pins and the Maamturk Mountains. The accommodation is laid out
over two floors and offers both bright and spacious living space, mostly taking the upmost advantage of the stunning surrounding landscapes.
The main house consists of 4/5 reception rooms, five bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, kitchen and store rooms. In the annex there is further accommodation of two bedrooms with
ensuite bathroom, and there is also a three bedroomed gate lodge, with kitchen and sitting room.
The property has been maintained to a high standard and much care has also been given to the grounds and gardens surrounding the house. It is approached along a tree lined avenue with specimen Rhododendrons,
exotic shrubs, the avenue then meanders by an ornamental pond to the front of the house. There is further grazing land and some woodland.
