Positano is possibly one of the most beautiful Italian villages found on the Southern coast of Italy, famed for its picturesque scenery, lovely beaches and very lively atmosphere.
Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii all within easy distance for a day out.
Just at the side of the village is a small private domain in which there a few independent villas and neighbour a lovely hotel and private access to a private beach
Car parking at 10 minute walk, shops restaurants etc on the doorstep.

Torre Sponda is a unique property in the beautiful village of Positano. Torre Sponda was constructed in the XIII th century. A string of similar defensive watch towers dot the Italian coast from Sicily to Tuscany. As the Torre is a simple structure with 6 foot thick walls and only two rooms you will live in a circular environment with windows overlooking Positano bay surrounded by trees and gardens in a gated private property of only seven houses and private steps to the beach.
The Torre has a large circular panoramic rooftop terrace under which is the main room with a king size bed, sitting area and a large fireplace with two windows overlooking Positano and the coast south toward Ravello. There is a hot plate and small refrigerator for breakfast preparation.        
Below the main room is a spacious bathroom of Oriental flavour with a full shower, bidet, WC and wash basin.
Outside a few steps down from the Torre is an annex with a second full shower room with shower, WC , bidet and sink, kitchen with oven, hob, sink and a sitting room with a sofa bed, fridge and little table. Both units have a telephone and television.
Outside the annex is a garden terrace where you can partake of a leisurely lunch or dinner. Adjoining the Annex is a large solarium with a shower for relaxing, sunbathing or to enjoy the afternoon or the starry night sky. The Torre can be rented with minimal service or with maid service every day
including a noon meal preparation or a meal prepared for the evening. Minimum rental period is one week with two cleanings and linen changes

Air conditioning – internet connection (ADSL) the maid will take washing for you at your charge.
