Watch our exclusive TV video interviews with Kevin McCloud, presenter of TV show Grand Designs and every thinking woman's architectural bit of crumpet.
Kevin McCloud is lucky enough to have it all. Not famous enough to be hounded by paparazzi but adored by a solid fanbase of Grand Designs TV show enthusasiasts, he has become the poster boy for Britain's architectural community.
As well as new series of the flagship show and more repeats on More 4 than you can shake a timber joist at, McCloud also fronts several spin offs, a bi-annual exhibition version of the show as well as his own building company, Habhousing.
Despite the essentially repetitive nature of the show - most weeks a couple build or renovative their dream home despite money, weather, relationaship and construction troubles - McCloud uses a wide ranging facial expressions, his professorial tone of voice, a polite but questioning style and an array of tweedy outfits to keep viewers hooked.
McCloud has been honing his style since April 1999 when the Grand Designs show kicked off on Channel 4 and is currently on its tenth series, an astounding track record given how often property TV shows come and go.
PrimeLocation.com secured an interview with McCloud and captured it on video. So if you would like to watch him talking candidly away from the Grand Designs cameras then here's your chance.
