Welcome to an independently-run, independently-minded estate and lettings agency. Ascend was founded on the belief that estate agents could do a lot better. We’d been working in the industry for a long time and were frustrated that most agencies were just so ordinary. Like their houses, these places were in need of a new lick of paint. Bit of rising damp in the basement too. So we decided to build our own home. This new home wasn’t made of sticks or straw. It was founded on a deep-rooted, decade-long knowledge of Manchester, from the very bricks and mortar of the city centre to its outer reaches. By a team of savvy individuals who loved the city and loved helping people invest, move and live in it. A team of quick thinkers and good listeners who did that rare thing: treat customers like people instead of transactions. Because they knew great service wasn’t just about experience and expertise. Lucy Wakeland MNAEA
Head of Sales
Lucy looks after the Sales team at the Deansgate office, and manages the branch alongside Rob. She has been in an Estate agency based role for around 5 years, and has built an extensive amount of knowledge on the industry & local market within this time.
Robert Healy
Head of Lettings
Rob is our Lettings Manager and manages the Deansgate branch alongside Lucy. Rob began as a Property Consultant in 2014 and worked his way up to his current position. His main job role includes managing the Deansgate team, valuations and winning new business. His passion for providing great service has seen him win numerous awards such as Best Lettings Agent in M3, Best Letting Agent in Manchester and the 2017 Gold Peoples Award for Best Customer Experience.
Ardent Julius
Lettings Negotiator
Ardent has been with Ascend Deansgate for some time now and is an external lettings negotiator meaning he's often back-to-back on viewings. Having worked in property sales previously, Ardent has extensive experience in the real estate market.
Ewan Rowe
Senior Lettings Negotiator
Ewan is one of our Senior Lettings Negotiators for the business, and he's based in the Manchester Deansgate branch. He is well experienced in sales across the country but now is the master of Manchester when it comes to renting properties, with a particular expertise in Build to Rent. His energy and commitment is top class!
Ektha Mehta
Lettings Negotiator
Ektha works in Rob's team as a lettings negotiator based in our Deansgate office. She conducts viewings and negotiates lets, helping residents find their dream home across the city and ensures a great service is provided in their experience with Ascend.
